I don’t normally get angry while watching television (esp. if Sehwag hasn’t thrown it away again) but my blood boiled when I watched this on the news. Have a look yourself.

I have been to Rajahmundry just once (and that’s a story for another post) and swore I would not go back (it’s as much fun as Bangalore at 11:15 pm on any given night) but I will gladly go back and bitchslap that sunnuvabitch parent.

isn’t this a scene we see every day in our bollywood and tolly and molly and kolly wood movies? the only way forward is to educate all girls and let it be known to them that they can live independently if they want to..and need not depend on ANYone.
in india, marriage is hyped, and the society a big farce.

yeah, i happened to catch it on the news and we were horrified!! and then i thought, well she was lucky it was caught on camera… and not one the thousands who couldn’t fight back.
